August 13, 2024On behalf of the HOA Board, I’d like to share some updates on the pool.
FOBS Replacing Keys:
First, we are moving from a key system to a fob system for entrance to the pool that will go into effect on
Thursday, August 22nd. The fob system will make entry easier for you and it also allows us to:
• monitor who is entering the pool and at what time, which may cut down on vandalism and other pool
violations
• close the pool down so no one can enter after pool hours. (The pool closes at 10 p.m. and reopens at 5:00
a.m.
To make that happen, we are arranging two times when you can come to the pool and receive your fob. Those
times are:
• Saturday, August 17 from 10 to 12 noon
• Wednesday, August 21 from 6 to 7:30 pm
If either of these times do not work for you, then you please email customerservice@missionmanagement.biz to
make other arrangements.
• Each household will receive one free fob. If you lose your fob, you’ll be charged $50 for a replacement.
Please keep your pool key to operate the gate that goes to Fry’s & the bathrooms at the pool.
• Remember, after Thursday, August 22nd you will not be able to enter the pool without a fob.
SECURITY CAMERAS:
You may have noticed a security system with cameras being installed. This will allow us to
monitor the pool and we hope this will cut down on violations that we’ve seen in the last few months which
include:
• People illegally entering the pool by climbing the wall (which has caused damage to the fascia and lights)
• People jumping from the roof into the pool.
• People consuming alcohol
• Unattended youth and unattended guests
• Unscheduled parties
• Foul language and threatening behavior
POOL CONDUCT:
All owners, residents, tenants, and guests should follow the Arcadia Square Pool Rules that are
attached and posted under the Ramada. Not following the pool rules could result in the immediate suspension of
pool access. Having the cameras, in conjunction with the fob entry tracking system, we will be able to better
identify who is not following the pool rules and address each incident more effectively.
SERVICES AND REPAIRS:
We continue to have pool cleaning services on a weekly basis. You may be interested in
some other improvements we’ve made, including:
1. Recoated the pool roof with a 2-year warranty.
2. Installed a new pool rail in the shallow end for people who have difficulty getting out of the pool.
3. Replaced/ secured pool ladders, likely loosened by rough play in the pool.
4. Installed a sight glass in the pool pumping pressure filter system on the waste discharge pipe.
5. Installed an emergency shut-off system that is located within the swimming pool enclosure to cut off
power to the water circulation system if someone/something is entrapped on a main drain or suction
outlet.
6. Painted No Diving signs around the edge of the pool.
2
7. Fixed/secured the metal grating around the pool area.
8. Worked on the irrigation system in the pool area.
9. Replaced several lounge chairs.
10. Update our updated health inspection report and pool operator certificate in the shadow box.
Future projects include:
1. Repairing/painting the Ramada ceiling and columns.
2. Installing an emergency entrance system outside the gate. This would be if emergency responders
needed to reach someone inside the pool area and requires a special key they carry.
